The Lazy Pig

There once was a lazy pig who didn’t want to learn anything.

He asked the squirrel to play with him, but she was on her way to school and the pig had to play on his own.

Not paying attention to where he was, the pig got lost in a dark forest. Then he found a signpost but didn’t know how to read.

The pig wept and blamed himself for not spending enough time learning at school.

After a while, a lion came by. The pig was so afraid of being eaten alive that he began begging the lion for mercy.
“I just want to help,” said the lion “because you are illiterate. Am I right?”

By following the lion’s directions, the pig found his way out of the dark forest and decided to go to school like his friends.
